Do you need assistance with renovating in a bushfire zone? We can help..
BAL FZ (Bushfire Attack Level Flame Zone) designates the highest level of bushfire attack a building can be subjected to. This level indicates a significant risk of ember attack and direct flame contact. Buildings situated in this zone necessitate specific construction methods and materials designed to resist these extreme conditions effectively.
To address these requirements, we have specified a Bradford Bushfire system. The implemented installation process incorporates a layer of structural ply, flame-resistant sealing for all penetrations, Fyrchek plasterboard for eaves and fascia, flame-rated insulation, and appropriate roof sheeting.
Non-compliance with these stringent standards may result in project delays, additional costs, and the inability to secure an Occupation Certificate.
Spannenberg & Son possesses the experience and qualifications to competently manage projects within bushfire-prone areas, ensuring both safety and regulatory compliance.
