The Spannenberg and Son Process

Many homeowners find that completing renovations or extensions is a hectic and lengthy process. At Spannenberg, we take the guesswork out of it and keep you informed every step of the way. You won’t have to be concerned about anything as our team have the experience and expertise to help guide you through the build process. Our process looks like this:

Consultation – For all projects, we will meet on-site at a small charge to review your needs and talk about design possibilities to satisfy your style and budget.

Design – Our team will work with you to draft your new home or renovation. This step includes numerous sketch designs and floor plans.

Formal Quotation – We provide you with a detailed, written quotation that covers itemised costs and all your pricing options.

Proceeding – After you accept the quote, our team starts working in the background to arrange: engineering particulars, building specifications, energy efficiency assessments (BASIX), and working sketches. These are submitted to the council on behalf of you.

The signing of the contract – Another meeting is organised to sign the contracts, we use the HIA (Housing industry association) Contracts

Build – The construction begins, and your project manager will keep you updated throughout the whole process.

Completion – Following the build, our team performs a thorough inspection to ensure that the result meets our high standards.

Maintenance and guarantee – Spannenberg offers a six-year structural warranty on their work and a three-month defects liability period. This gives you peace of mind that if an aspect is substandard, we will come out and rectify any issues promptly.
